Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Enterprise Production Systems Engineering (EPSE) is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst in support of our Enterprise Production Systems Engineering (EPSE) Business Operations organization. This position will be part of the Data Analytics team and can be based out of one of the following locations: Charleston, SC ; Everett, WA ; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA .This team is looking for a broad range of experience, including Associate , Mid-Level , or Senior Business Analysts.The Business Intelligence Analyst will design and implement strategic data visualizations, metrics, and analytics to drive insights for the Enterprise Functional Chief Engineers, the EPSE Leadership Team and Business Operations.Position Responsibilities:Level 2Partner in the design of Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives and solutions. Distill large datasets into effective visualizations for executive reporting through data-analytics/visualization applications and languages (Tableau, R, Python, SQL, etc.). Achieve desired outcomes on projects, on-time and within budget.Level 3Responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. Combines programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.Level 4Leads in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. Assesses current technology for best fit. Combines programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes. Partner with multi-functional stakeholders to help define requirements, extract and compile data, develop optimized performance reporting, and drive business insight.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related discipline
1+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
1+ years of experience in ETL (extract-transform-load)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity
1+ years of experience with data analysis algorithms (e.g. data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, text mining, visual analytics)
Experience in developing and publishing visuals or tools with R/Shiny or Python/Dash.
Experience working independently in a professional manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
