Job DescriptionKeeps facilities and surrounding areas in clean and orderly condition for visitors, tenants and/or rental customers by performing the following duties. Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums all floor space, porches, stairs, walls, duct and beam work, exhibit structures, overheads and restroom fixtures. Waxes and buffs historic wood flooring in facilities, following specified maintenance schedule. Cleans windows and other glass as necessary. Polishes and maintains brass fixtures, wood trim and like surfaces. Replaces light bulbs in fixtures, overheads and exhibit structures. Empties trash and garbage containers. May clean debris from sidewalk. Notifies management concerning need for repairs or additions to the facility or any components. Responds to questions from visitors, tenants and rental customers regarding the facility and general information. May perform detailed cleaning of facilities following rental events. Performs other duties as assigned.
