Tavern & Table is that local gathering place where friends and family get together for classic cocktails and spectacular handcrafted food in a comfortable setting on beautiful Shem Creek. The inventive menu, created by Executive Chef Ray England, celebrates the flavors of the Lowcountry focusing heavily on seasonal produce and locally sourced meat & seafood, using traditional and modern techniques.
We are currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic and hardworking AM & PM line cooks. Full time and part time availability, must be willing to work holidays & weekends. All experience levels are welcome!
Qualifications:
-1+ years of kitchen experience.
-Experience with all kitchen work, including but not limited to sanitation, knife work, vegetable prep, protein prep, produce/herb knowledge, general food safety, organization and cleanliness.
-Ability to communicate with a team and execute a busy service.
-Ability to lift 50 pounds.
-Ability to stand and stay active for long periods of time.
-Maintaining standards of cleanliness and following health code requirements.
-Ability to work weekends and holidays.
-Thirst for knowledge and to continually grow in and with the kitchen crew.
-Timeliness and urgency is MANDATORY.
