Pilgrim Community Preschool (a ministry of Pilgrim Lutheran Church) in Lexington, SC, is seeking an experienced 4K lead-teacher. We are also seeking assistant-teachers for our 2-year-old and 4K classrooms. Previous preschool work experience is required for the 4K lead-teacher position. Employment will begin on August 26, 2019.
Pilgrim Community Preschool is a part-time preschool operating Monday-Thursday, late August-May. The work hours are 8:30am-1:30pm. The 2019-2020 school year will begin on August 26, 2019 and will conclude at the end of May. The ideal candidates will have previous preschool teaching/assisting experience working with preschool aged children. Candidates must pass a background check as a condition of employment.
Candidates should have a natural love for children and the patience to work with them. Since preschool is all about school readiness, our preschool teachers assist children with developing their social, emotional and cognitive skills as well as provide them with an age appropriate education. Our teachers are expected to interact with children and provide them a comforting and nurturing environment that is age appropriate and conducive to learning.
