Summary
Identify and resolve information flow, content issues, and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. Analyze and develop logical or physical database designs, data models, and relational data definitions in support of corporate systems requirements. Description •30% Identify opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses, and single sources of data.•30% Plan, design, enforce, and audit security policies and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements. Evaluate and recommend security products, services, and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.•15% Provide management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect client or corporate security objectives. Perform database backup/recovery responsibilities.•15% Create database objects and make recommendations for adaptation of new technologies or policies. Troubleshoot applications performance problems.•10% Conduct end-user training where applicable.Required Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.

- 5 years of IT experience including varied database administration experience.
- Must have experience in Oracle.
- Knowledge of applicable data management programming languages and tools.
- Able to identify areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change and need to be developed.
- Knowledge of the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to configure database parameters and to diagnose and resolve performance problems.
