Our direct client is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer for their Columbia, SC location. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
Job Description:Candidate will need to have the ability at the start of the contract to report in-person the first two weeks for training. Once the company returns to the office this role will report in the office three days per week, please see the details below: Requirements: Network Access Control needed skills:- CCNA or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches – Cisco IOS, NX-OS.
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewall.
- Experience as Linux server administration, NOT a must have, just nice to have.
- Network monitoring tools and protocols – SNMPv2, SNMPv3, SSH, NTP, REST API, FTP, SFTP, TFTP.
- LAN/WAN routing.
- Network protocols – ARP, DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS.
