Summary Position Purpose :

As a member of our Data Analysis team, you will be responsible for accuracy of data as financial and operational decisions are made based on the data provided. Your analytical skills will be used to create and analyze reports to support operations and presents report findings in a concise manner to appropriate management level. You will also serve in a lead capacity as an expert data analyst and may also lead a team.

And your ability to train subordinate staff including provide assistance/guidance to staff in design/execution of reporting needs. Description What You'll Do:
  • Review, extract, and analyze data to be used in formulation of procedures, processes and other requirements, including data integrity and quality control.
  • Develop complex analysis and sophisticated data compilation, verification, and interpretations to guide divisional efforts.
  • Communicate with and/or trains employees and managers on the complex database programs used to generate analytical data.
  • Monitor data for compliance with all applicable regulations and communicates and updates data as necessary.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, 8 years of Accounting experience or other related field or 2-year degree in Computer Science, Business or related field and 2 years of reporting and data analysis work experience OR
  • 4 years reporting and data analysis experience.
  • 6 Years Research and analysis experience.
  • Advanced experience using complex mathematical calculations and understand mathematical and statistical concepts.
  • Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, data and business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development.
  • Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of programming languages across various software platforms, using DB2, SQL, and/or relational databases.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of tools such as Visual Basic and Macros useful in automating reporting processes.

We Prefer That You Have:
  • 8 Years Research and analysis experience.
  • SAS experience.
  • Computer programming skills.
  • Negotiation or persuasion skills.
  • Knowledge of ICD9/CPT4 coding.
