Summary Responsible for direct supervision and oversight of Data Operations Center and Print Operations Center staff and their activities. Assists with and supports department projects. Supports operations management in developing, implementing, and maintaining standards and procedures related to all operations and support functions. Mentors, counsels, and cross trains staff in various functional areas of the department. Performs administrative duties and communicates with internal and external customers to achieve departmental goals.

This is an on-site position located in Columbia, SC. Description •40% Provides supervision and oversight of day to day Data Center Operations and Print Center operations and staff to ensure performance standards are maintained. Assigns tasks including initial direction and follow-ups. Oversees activity between the Operation and Support Teams.

•20% Develops operations staff including identification of training needs, required certifications, mentoring, counseling, process changes, performance management, change management, and audit functions. Provides back-up support to the other Data and Print Center operational areas. Provides, direction, guidance, and support to auditors and audit technicians.

•15% Performs administrative duties including but not limited to performance evaluations, scheduling shifts, processing timesheets, facilitating audit requests, and tracking leave. Prepares and reviews reports on operational data.

•15% Develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external business partners to include operations and support management and staff, operations and support areas, vendors, and other business partners. Resolves issues with Data Center Operations and Print Operations customers.

•10% Assists operations management team in achieving both departmental and corporate strategies and goals. Ensures operations staff has the necessary resources to complete projects and tasks. Assigns and monitors all tasks associated with Quality Systems. Conducts tours of the operations area.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for direct supervision and oversight of Data Operations Center and Splunk staff, oversite over of CDS/DRaaS change control process.
  • Administrative duties

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree - Any Major. (Equivalency not applicable for the Celerian Group. Bachelor's degree required.)

Required Work Experience :
  • 4 years of job related experience.

Preferred Work Experience:
  • Prior team lead, supervisor, or management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to analyze and identify patterns related to technical issues.
  • Ability to train Data/Print Center I/S employees and end users on system software and operational processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of departmental operations, systems, and the host equipment.
  • Ability to interact with various technologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communications (verbal and written), and customer service skills.

Required Software and Other Tools:
  • Advanced knowledge of computing platforms and multiple systems software.
  • Microsoft Office.

Work Environment: Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer within a technical help desk support center. Some travel between office buildings may be required.
