Qualifications:
- 7 - 10 years in the network/communications field
- Experience with:
- Bash and Python scripting with focus on DevOps tools, CI/CD and Azure cloud architecture
- Network automation using Python and Ansible
- Configuration and deployment of dynamic routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, & BGP over Cisco routers
- Network monitoring and analysis tools like, ITSM, CiscoWorks, and SD-WAN by Riverbed SteelHead, L3VPN over network, multi-tenant segment routing, Cisco ASA firewall 9.x, OSPFv3, EIGRP classic, and name-mode (wide metrics), VxLAN, VRF and VRF-lite, and VMware NSX VDC
- Cisco, Palo Alto, and BIG-IP F5 Professional in network system design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting
- Networking devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, WAN optimizers and wireless devices (controllers and access points)
- Cisco ACI configuration and implementation
- Advance knowledge in Cisco ASA installation, configuration, and maintenance
- In depth knowledge of Azure cloud service like compute, network, storage, and identity & access management
- Working knowledge and experience using YMAL and JSON scripting
- Working knowledge and experience with Linux
- Industry certifications, such as CCND, CCDP, CCIE are preferred
- Bachelor's in computer science, business, or communications
- Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and administer the switched networking system
- Proactively provide architecture input on major initiatives
- Ensure industry best practices and procedures are implemented and followed during technical system projects
- Establish clear and decisive standards for IT network systems to be referenced by all application and system development projects
- Develop strategic roadmap for global networks, datacenters, and core infrastructure services
- Provide technical insight and mentoring to junior technicians within the team
