Job Details:Job Title:SharePoint EngineerDuration: 10 + months with highly possible extensionLocation: Columbia, SC Scope of the project:- Under limited supervision, the employee will work with various stakeholders to help develop and deliver various Office 365 technologies. The position will be responsible for working with other DTO team members to help expand, secure and enhance our Office 365 services. The employee will be expected to work independently and engage their manager when issues need escalation.
- Monitor the service desk queue for any service requests and resolve in a timely manner.
- Expected to develop procedures and processes for ensuring that the Office 365 environment is configured according to Microsoft best practices. Identify any configuration issues or best practice gaps and develop a remediation plan.
- Provide tier 3 support for Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. Candidate will serve as a senior product engineer and will be expected to be able to coordinate engineering efforts
- Work closely with Exchange administrators and the Active Directory administrators to automate any repetitive functions and secure any automation scripts.
- Working knowledge and management of cloud hosted solutions including Office 365 and Azure AAD.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Exchange as well as have a strong understanding of the Power Platform.
- Able to create and debug automation scripts in various languages including basic batch scripts, PowerShell, python, Power BI, Power Query and TSQL.
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) and gather technical requirements from customers.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors and other officials
- A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and 5+ experience in Information Technology or related area.
- Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- CJIS Certification will be a requirement of employment within the first 2 months.
