- Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent project planning, organization, and management skills.
- Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems. Thorough understanding of systems migration processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill in testing data creation and manipulation. Ability to understand functional connections between applications. Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc. Required Software and Tools: Standard office equipment. Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms. Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. Skill in whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software.
- Work Environment: The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client’s operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
