- 40% Collaborate with and/or lead committees with cross-functional subject matter experts and managers to assess emerging and existing training needs, appropriate performance metrics, and align with business goals.
- 20% Interact with technical vendors when researching customizable IT educational solutions for possible offerings.
- 20% Maintain a course matrix detailing the hierarchy and how each of the IT training offerings relate to each other.
- 10% Develop proposals in coordination with management to be presented to senior management for approval of all new or changing training offerings.
- 10% Create, develop, and modify training programs for technical staff. Deliver training and development programs to a variety of audiences, including varying levels of responsibility and experience, while understanding and applying adult learning principles.
- 3 years training experience, including IT course development/delivery and vendor relations, 3 years technical experience, and 2 years program or project management experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (experience can be concurrent), OR
- 3 years training experience, including IT course development/delivery and vendor relations, 1 year technical experience, and 2 years program or project management experience with a Master's degree (experience can be concurrent).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Education, or other job related field OR
- An associate's degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or other job related degree plus 2 years of job related experience OR
- 4 years of job related work experience
- Capable of integrating business and technical concepts when designing courses and materials tailored to meet the unique needs of entry-level through technical expert programmers.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver case studies to ensure relevant skill, knowledge, and competency transfer.
- Strong human relations skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills necessary to schedule, arrange prioritize and complete work assignments as assigned.
- Demonstrated strong research, analytical, planning, and data gathering skills.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant productivity tools, systems, applications, and programming languages.
- Able to acquire an understanding of the complex technical environment of the organization.
- Understand adult learning principles and appropriate development methodologies.
