Appliance maintenance contractor is seeking an Appliance Mechanic/Maintenance Technician for performance of Washer and Dryer maintenance activities on Fort Jackson, SC. Successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, read and write the English language. They should be capable of scheduling, reading and performing work order and preventative maintenance tasks. Have the ability to correctly diagnose and repair washers and dryers efficiently and accurately, track all equipment repairs and supplies. Position will require individual to assist in movement of machines up multiple flights of stairs at times with assistance of co-workers utilizing appliance dolly.
Applicants must:
Have a valid drivers’ license
Should be capable of lifting 50 lbs. or greater and moving of washers and dryers
Be able to pass a background screening check to gain base access
