The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to assume total responsibility for the Sales growth of the assigned territory

Recruit and hire only the most qualified candidates for the sales rep position

Screen calling, interviewing, and scheduling 2nd interviews with your direct report

Maintain accurate records of recruiting efforts to meet company standards for performance at cost per hire

Training and developing those new hires

Personally assuming the responsibility to make your new hire successful

Setting the correct expectations throughout the entire process

Conduct orientation and follow the complete six (6) week sales training program

Conduct the classroom training by utilizing training videos and following the prescribed training outline

Ensuring that every rep you train has successfully completed all steps of the training program to maintain a consistent high-quality experience for our customers

Holding your reps accountable to improving and meeting the company standards for performance from the beginning

Daily accountability for the success of your office

Conduct sales meetings with all the sales reps in your designated territory at least two days a week.

Daily face to face, one on one meetings, to mentor your reps and insure they are more prepared to make a sale each and everyday

One on one dispositions of yesterdays appointments

Distribute leads in person at the office

Marketing

Daily interaction/accountability with your Outside Events Manager to meet or exceed company standards

Coaching, developing, and improving the management and people skills of your Outside Events Manager

Review event calendar to be sure the Outside Events Managers activities and priorities are in line to achieve the sales budget for the office every month

Recruiting, hiring, and training of new Outside Events Manager as needed

Encourage all employees to research and provide new venues for the outside event and grass roots marketing programs

General Administration

Timely and accurate reporting of results

Quick resolution of hold and pending sales

Immediate response to customer issues and concerns

Ensure the office is operating efficiently

Enforcing a professional environment at all times

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, home improvements preferred

Valid Drivers license along with a vehicle

Ability to travel outside immediate area

MUST be Organized!
