Tool Presetter
Growing Saline, Michigan based company looking for an outgoing and conscientious employee for immediate employment in the Columbia, SC area. This is a full-time position. The employee will be based out of an automotive manufacturing facility for which the employer has service based contracts managing cutting tools and MRO. Some of the responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Duties and responsibilities:
Breakdown and assembly of high precision cutting tool assemblies.
Testing tracking and implementation.
Projects related to tooling improvements and cost savings.
Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Project work as assigned for continuous improvement.
Liaises with other departments where necessary.
Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
May be required to train others.
Perform other duties as requested.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months experience working in an industrial environment.
Ability to use computer.
Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, lift, move, and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or less.
Ability to move heavier objects using mechanical devices or with the assistance of co-workers; and ability to reach equipment control settings.
Be willing and able to work OT and weekends as needed.
