Central United Methodist Church, a conservative church in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a full-time Director of Youth and Children's Ministries to provide leadership for youth and children's small group ministries. Individual should be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, possess a cooperative spirit and be a self-starter with passion for ministry. The ideal candidate will possess a number of qualities and qualifications, including: energetic, creative and passionate about leading others to Christ and nurturing persons in a maturing relationship with Christ; possess a four-year degree in a related field or four years experience directing youth and children's ministries; vision and ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement small group ministries for youth and children; excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills and conflict management skills; ability to engage a diverse group of people.
