321 AUTO SALES is a high volume buy-here pay-here used car dealership located in Gaston, SC. We are looking to add an automotive shop service manager to our qualified staff. Your duties will focus on the repairing operation. We have an excellent group of mechanics but need additional help to keep up with the growing business. I am looking for an employee who is honest, self motivated, well organized and well versed in automobile service.
SOME OF THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
-You must be able to interpret vehicle problems and translate those instructions clear for technicians.
-You need customer service skills that can handle any customer complaints tactfully and promptly.
-Automotive Diagnostic Skills
-Positive demeanor and the ability to relate well with employees and customers
-Fast Pace, multi tasking worker and Team leader
-Must be familiar with parts and ordering
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-ENTER AND PROCESS NEW ARRIVING INVENTORY
-ORDERING PARTS AND AUDITING VENDOR STATEMENTS
-ASSESS GPS INSTALLATION ALONG WITH POST SALES ADVISING
-DIAGNOSE VEHICLE PROBLEMS WITH THE TECHS AND RESOLVE ISSUES
-REPORT TO UPPER MANAGEMENT
-BE HELPFUL TO THE TECHNICIANS IN A TIME OF NEED
-DRIVE VEHICLE AND BE KNOWLEDGEABLE TO KNOW IF THE VEHICLE IS READY TO SELL
REQUIREMENTS:
-PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL
-AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
-ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS REQUIRED
-COMPUTER SKILLS
-VALID DRIVERS LICENSE WITH AN INSURABLE DRIVING RECORD
