Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinates research activities of faculty and staff at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center. Serves as primary farm equipment operator and coordinates research activities for faculty located off-site. Performs other duties as assigned.JOB DUTIES:40% - Essential - Research: Conduct tillage, planting operations, spraying, harvesting, and data collection for research projects and farm operations. Manage research projects at Pee Dee REC for off-site faculty on Clemson University main campus and other Research & Education Centers.30% - Essential - Professional Development: Stay abreast of new agricultural technologies for tillage, planting, spraying, harvesting, and land use management in an agricultural research environment including GPS and precision irrigation technologies. Serve as primary contact for equipment with GPS technology operation20% - Essential - Equipment Management: Operate and maintain agricultural equipment used in experimental projects and rotational crops.
