job descriptionQuality Control TechnicianCompany located in Spartanburg seeking a QC Tech paying $13/hour. Quality Technician assures operational quality by monitoring process parameters, inspects, verifies parts and/or documents and resolves discrepancies or issues. This position is coordinated by the Quality Liaison but reports directly to the Quality Manager.Responsibilities:? Perform quality confirmations of inbound material in Receiving.? Produce finished assemblies outside of production cell to support service parts and incomplete assemblies due to material shortages.? Performs on-site sort and rework activities at the direction of the Quality Liaison.? Examine material or product for surface defects, proper dimensions per drawings, and proper assembly.? Manages the Quality cage containment of suspect material.? Perform audits of processes and material? Review rejects from production and confirm or rework.? Support Production.? Perform related duties as needed.? Ability to drive a fork-lift.? Create Work Instructions and ODS for employeesWorking hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PMSkills:

Math skills including add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, and able to compute rate, ration and percent

Ability to work independently and as part of a work group or team

Able and willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including variable shifts and work days

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
