What You'll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Fort Mill, SC. You'll get to:• Accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance of each line• Development of all line tooling, material, and process changes during product life• Plan for accelerating reduction of labor cost per tool• Conduct Kaizen / Continuous Imp. Projects in accordance with VSM and PFEP Strategy• Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes and workflowleveraging lean cell design techniques• Develop and implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems.• Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal restrictions.• Maintain research and activity documentation and preparing reports.• Train/coach associates on processes and procedures• Collect, analyze, summarize, and present process data (OEE) to management team• Assist Resident Engineering / New Product team(s) in new product launches as assigned• Creating and managing to project plans (tasks, resources, schedules) for process development activities• Providing ROI justification for process improvements• Assisting with design of custom tooling as required

You also have:• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and quantifiable lean manufacturing problem solving skills, preferred.• 2+ years experience within a manufacturing/distribution environment• Project Management Experience in the design/manufacture of products• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.• Experience using SAP or other related software• Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies, preferred• Effective organization, time management, and verbal/written communication skills• Advanced computer literacy, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word• Ability to manage groups, facilitate sessions, and presentations• Knowledge about organizational behavior, group dynamics, tools for managing change, intervention strategies, conflict management and problem solving• Ability to analyze in ambiguous or difficult problems• Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at time, stressful environment.
