Bookkeeper

DescriptionA growing construction management company in the South Charlotte area has an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity for a highly-skilled Bookkeeper. The work hours for the Bookkeeper are from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll data entry, as well as AIA billing. The ideal Bookkeeper will have at least 3 years of experience and prior experience working inside of the ERP SAGE 100. The ideal Bookkeeper will be someone who is extremely detail-oriented, as well as a self-starter capable of working independently. Prior experience with AIA billing is a requirement for this position.Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Monitor accounts by balancing entries

Manage and review general ledger

Support quality archived records by filing documents

Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Review payments received and record deposits

Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Sage 100 experience desired

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Payroll experience

Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

Experience using accounting software
