Job Description

Job Summary

This position holds responsibility for assigned Customer forecasting, order and confirmation entry. This person is the primary contact for the customer to the plant. The customer planner is responsible to monitor the incoming orders to make sure they align with the previously forecasted amounts, do not violate agreed parameters and to reconcile with the customer when they do not align. The customer planner handles all communication to the customer regarding orders, shipments and future demand. The customer planner is also responsible for accuracy of order/Scheduling Agreements in SAP.

Job Responsibilities

· Represent DC and act as a liaison between FniP plant and Customer

· Review Customer demands and EDI signals.

· Resolve fluctuations in customer demand that do not adhere to tolerance agreements

· Continuously monitor, maintain, and update the forecasting data in SAP

· Utilize customer portals for collaboration and order/forecast downloads.

· Resolve invoice discrepancies with customer and internal AR/Bosch Rexroth sales team

· Enter sales orders / Scheduling Agreements and manage long term forecasting in SAP

· Ensure proper material master set up for all customer materials and customer accounts

· Communicate shipping requirements with Physical Logistics

· Coordinate expedite shipments outbound to customers when needed

· Coordinate new product launches with the plant

· Will require the capability to understand, research and update data within several different modules of SAP

· Other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

BS degree in related field preferred, Associates degree in combination with 5+ years of experience in Customer/Demand planning considered.

  • Detail oriented, organized with excellent time management and follow up skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with the customer as well as other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff

· Skilled in SAP knowledge (MM, PP, SD modules)
