- Works with business users to determine requirements, priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI), and develop BI and data management (DW) strategies.
- Partners with business and development teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Provides leadership in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management.
- Conducts analyses of functional business processes and functional business requirements and participates in the development of business cases in the support of process changes and/or IT projects.
- Plans, analyzes, designs (including functional design), and defines requirements, tests and implements solutions according to standard agile delivery.
- Develops prototypes and proof of concepts for specified business challenges.
- Assists data scientists with exploration and analysis activities.
- Applies knowledge of advanced algorithms and problem solving experience to build high-performance, parallel, and distributed solutions.
- Performs code and solution review activities, then recommend enhancements that improve efficiencies, performance, stability, and lower support costs.
- Measures performance of delivered services through set of agreed metrics. Manages appropriate action to make corrections so that all services agreements are met.
- Performs cost analysis for systems and determines most cost-effective way to solve business issues as related to systems development.
- Manages medium -scale enterprise-wide projects
- Performs other duties as assigned by CLIENT’S Operations Supervisor.
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred or the equivalent of 4 years professional IT related experience. MS degree (preferred).
- 5+ years of technical experience in Business Intelligence to include 3+ years of experience in visualization technologies and tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI
