Job SummaryThis position will manage and oversee the day to day operations and strategy for the Operational Reporting team. Operational Reporting supports and deploys technology that advances the goals of all operational departments of the client to deliver appropriate data from the right system at the right time. Provides leadership in the planning and overall management for the design, development, implementation and support of application reports and extracts to meet the goals of the client. Manages the development of report and extract strategies across a variety of internal and external systems in order to meet the operational and organizational goals. Manage and coordinate all aspects of implementation, design, and maintenance of operational reports, working directly with end users to meet their needs. Hires and evaluates staff and is responsible for the scheduling of on-call duties for assigned team. Assists Director in planning operational, capital and project budgets and administration for given teams, short- and long-term planning and quality assurance, as well as the overall service delivery for designated application functionality. May be asked to lead the development and implementation of key programs. Key areas of responsibility: Operational Reporting EMR Related Reporting Suites Business System Reporting Suites System Extracts More as definedAccountabilitiesLeads and mentor's managers and team members, providing direction through coaching, development plans and performance evaluations, monitoring workloads and responsibilities in support of the vision, goals, strategy, and behavior essentials.Develop and enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures for the operational reporting team.Manages the processing of incoming requests, incidents, and projects to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of operational reporting activities.Analyze performance of operational reporting team's activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.Manages multiple vendor relationships to ensure compliance with agreed upon delieverables and implementation milestones as appropriate.Engages actively with customers to analyze needs and ensure that services provided improve business or clinical process that are aligned and support business strategies.Manages the quality management program in place to provide an exceptional end to end user experience.Deepens the culture of service orientation and customer focus.Working with Director, prepare and manage the annual operating budget. Review budget reports monthly and develop action plans if needed.Demonstrates effectiveness in leadership through collaboration skills, deliberate decision-making and effective delegation and follow up.
