Description We are looking for a Project Assistant to join our team in the Plastics Manufacturing industry, located in Greenville, South Carolina. This role centers around administrative tasks and requires a keen attention to detail. As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for handling customer service and data entry tasks, managing timelines, and maintaining organized files. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring efficient operation of the office Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and phone calls Manage customer data by entering and updating information in the database Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) to complete tasks and projects Organize and maintain files for easy access and retrieval Perform scanning and shipping functions as required Assist in the management of project timelines to ensure timely completion Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly Utilize administrative experience to streamline office operations Assist with other administrative duties as needed. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Strong customer service skills Experience in data entry and management Ability to manage timelines effectively Proficiency in organizing files and scanning documents Familiarity with shipping functions Prior administrative assistance experience Previous experience in a similar industry or role would be advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively High attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
