We actively partner with our clients to design and implement a manufacturing process that minimizes risk and maximizes success. We support programs by developing new formulations, optimizing the formulation or manufacturing process, or scaling up the process. We are a fast- paced, interdisciplinary team that prides itself on scientific vision, defining exceptional customer experience, and a commitment to integrity.What will you do?Will be involved in pre-clinical, clinical, and/or post-marketing stages of drug development.

Participates in development of scientific strategy

Coordinates development of methods and processes that meet or exceed the expectations from clients and provide innovation as necessary.

Guides and advises during implementation of new methodologies and processes

Is viewed as a Subject Matter Expert to solve problems related to the conduct of chemical experiments.

Develops realistic proposals and timelines

Leads multiple projects independently, including managing project timelines and deliverables.

Leads technical discussions with clients and presents recommendations to clients and to internal teams.

Liaises with internal scientific, analytical, and laboratory functional areas to meet project and team objectives.

Is a valued member of a team committed to advancing the design of manufacturing processes and solving problems with innovative solutions.

Coordinates research of industry practices and processes and applies to innovative development internally and for client products.

Performs all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety guidelines.

Maintains the necessary compliance status required by company and facility standards

How will you get here?EducationBachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related physical science. Advanced degree preferred.

ExperienceTypically requires 5+ years of progressive scientific experience, preferably in a related life sciences field.

Individuals with advanced degrees and less relevant experience may be considered

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of varied aspects or a specialized aspect of a discipline and working knowledge of principles and concepts of other relevant disciplines.

Excellent understanding of scientific methodology as related to the pharmaceutical industry.

Thorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Excellent critical and logical thinking skills.

Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including managing technical discussions with internal and external clients.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to develop knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical processes, equipment, instrumentation, and procedures.

Ability to develop technical solutions.

Ability to keep current with scientific literature and industry trends relating to process technologies.
