Test & Reliability EngineerJob Number: 296691Category: TestDescription: A Test & Reliability Engineer job in Greenville, SC is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, determine root cause, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate technical solutions. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and five or more years of experience in a test or reliability engineer role in a manufacturing environment. Experience with regulated technical specifications is strongly preferred. This is a very visible, direct hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.Test & Reliability Engineer Job duties:
Review Failure Reports for recognition of trends and early indication of problems
Organize project activities to investigate, evaluate and apply solutions to reliability failures.
Design, develop and implement test strategies to satisfy product test requirements within a timely manner and within budget.
Prepare documentation as required by technical specifications, such as FST compliance matrix, Hazard Analyses, FEMECA and FMEA. Interface with vendors to prepare equipment purchase specifications and improve quality and reliability of components.
Present failure reports and trends to management and customers as required.
Interface with customer interaction through Program Management externally, and directly within OEM and Product Development Engineering on internal assignments.
Qualifications:
BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required with at least five years of experience in test system design and implementation preferred.
Engineering skills preferred include: instrumentation, electronics, mechanical design, pneumatics, computer programming, data analysis and PLC systems.
Software experience (i.e. LabView, C, Visual Basic, and PLC).
Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to 3-D solid modeling software.
Proficient in analog and digital design and electronic controls.
Knowledge of Transit Industry requirements and environments a plus.
