White Duck Taco, a very popular taco restaurant based in Asheville, NC, has come to Greenville, SC and we are looking for experienced BOH staff. We are hiring specifically for BOH staff experienced on grill and a dishwasher. We are a fast paced, high volume restaurant looking for some awesome team members to join our family. We are living wage certified company with growth opportunities. The following are requirements for the specific jobs:
Line/Prep Cook Requirements: Experienced line cooks with previous grill, fry, and/or expo experience strongly preferred. Job duties include prepping and preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, taking direction from team members, cooperating with your fellow employees, and abiding by all SC health department regulations. Knowledge of knife cuts is preferred, but not required. A background in flat top grill experience is preferred.
We are looking for individuals who have:
Ability to stand on their feet for long periods of time
Ability to work 4-5 shifts a week
Availability on all days but Mondays (especially Fridays and Saturdays)
A team player mindset
Ability to self motivate
Ability to delegate to others as well as take direction
Ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills
Strong sense of urgency
