High school education required. Post high school health/medical studies
with certification required (LPN, MA, CMA, CNA, Phlebotomy or other
certification of qualification to administer injections and draw blood
specimens). Describe your training and experience with medical
terminology, clinical office procedures and health information privacy
requirements.Performs work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice.
Completes patient assessments, identifies common medical/nursing care,
learning needs, symptoms and/or abnormal diagnostic data. Performs
laboratory procedures and assists physicians and other providers with
patient treatments & therapies. Administers medications and sterile
solutions as directed and authorized. Uses electronic medical record
system proficiently as primary source of documentation of all patient
visits and correspondence. Able to perform most duties of the front
office, including registering patients, answering phones, scheduling
appointments, checking patients in/out, collecting monies and routing
patient issues to the proper area for resolution. Assists with scanning
documents into EMR. Practices work in a safe manner, following proper
protocols of infection control, accident prevention and proper body
mechanics. Performs other duties as assigned.Sign on bonus for LPN positions.
