The MR technologist performs MR examinations on IP, OP, and ECC
patients. Exams are performed per approved radiologist protocol. The
technologist obtains patient history, explains procedure, obtains IV
access, injects contrast in addition to operating the MR scanner. The MR
technologist will perform all duties within the department to include
standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as deemed necessary.
The MR technologist will perform any and all duties in addition to meet
the needs of the hospital and as deemed necessary by their
supervisor.Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT. SCRQSA Certification
required. Experience and training in high tech imaging modalities,
equipment and procedures. Must meet continuing education requirements.
Current CPR certification required.
