Primary Duties
Work with local township and borough code requirements in Pennsylvania and South Carolina to produce
house plans and elevations according to local code requirements.
Primary focus will be on residential new home construction with a small workload of home improvement and
light commercial design.
Capable to ensuring measurements, loads, and materials are accurate on final building prints.
Capable of handling review meetings with supervisors, associations, and customers as needed.
Able to produce purchase orders with accurate material counts for subcontractors and vendors once a plan is
approved.
Able to quickly learn how permit packages are assembled internally, submit permit packages, and provide
revisions promptly to avoid construction start delays.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in Residential design/drafting capacity
Experience with Chief Architect required or ability to learn quickly
Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete deadline driven tasks and projects
Ability to read plans and perform basic calculations
Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while being detail oriented and maintaining logical
priority.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft software
Maintain positive relationships through courteous and respectful action.
