TOMRA Mining is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team in South Africa.In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the preparation, composition, guiding, and monitoring of tests in the field and local test facility, as well as serving as the focal point for technical support on all application-related questions.Perform field application services, commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, and occasional troubleshooting of TOMRA Sorters.Prepare, operate, and document tests and projects in the field and test facility.Prepare high-quality test reports and protocols for each site visit, commissioning, and customer test work.Optimize sorting processes on-site.Conduct internal and external training for service, sales, and customers.Support sales managers with the technical (application) preparation and review of sales proposals.Advise customers on best practices, installations, migration, and improvement possibilities to enhance and increase sorter performance, quality, and efficiency.Guide and support field service engineers before, during, and after the installation of applications.Serve as a contact for questions concerning application-related topics.Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, TOMRA technology, products, solutions, and services.
