Job ResponsibilitiesLeads and manages the activities of a team of three to five people in the division's disaster Public Assistance program. Prioritizes and delegates duties and responsibilities integral to state management of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) grants. Identifies issues requiring elevation to Public Assistance program management and communicates those issues thoroughly and effectively. Oversees daily activities of assigned team and reports on progress of the team toward identified goals. Possesses knowledge of appropriate professional correspondence and communication practices. Analyzes and interprets data provided from a variety of sources and provides thorough, accurate reports to Public Assistance program management. Tracks, prepares, and reviews correspondence related to the Public Assistance program.Minimum and Additional RequirementsBachelor's degree and minimum one year personnel management experience.Additional CommentsStrong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to navigate online systems and processes including databases. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel. Must be able to perform a variety of functions while maintaining effective organization of duties. Must be familiar with the levels of government and the responsibilities of each.
