Job Description
Responsibility
Responsibility for all preparation, picking, packing, and shipping of orders
Duties
.1. Pick and process orders
.2. Coordinate and organize sales orders that are received on daily milk run delivery
.3. Ensure e-portal is used for all deliveries to customer Wurth
.4. Verify that all part numbers and quantities match the packing list
.5. Create specific shipping or box labels when required
.6. Ensure that all items are properly packed and labeled
.7. Ensure box inventory required for shipping is available
.8. Maintain and organization inventory racks when necessary
.9. Take part in year-end inventory counts
.10. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
.11. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to warehouse manager
.12. Works well with shipping team to complete orders on time
.13. Close communication with internal customer service and production schedulers
.14. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge / Skill / Experience
.1. Possesses basic logistic knowledge (warehouse/receiving/shipping)
.2. Basic computer skills (including excel, word, email)
.3. Basic knowledge of local IT system (AX5)
.4. Fork Lift licensed
.5. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
.6. High School Diploma or GED (from accredited school) required
