We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues.SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.This role is considered a temporary assignment, with benefits, beginning immediately and anticipated to end on 7/31/2025, subject to business conditions. If, at the end of that period, you have not obtained another position within BD, your employment will terminate and you will be eligible for severance benefits per the Severance Plan currently in effect.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSlurries and dips all formers for the All Purpose products.

Operates the All Purpose slurry machine.

Operates All Purpose and dip machines

Skim tank before, during and after shift.

Push 56 trucks from Dip area to Strip area

Operate truck washer

Make minor adjustments

Handles approximately 3 400 to 600 lbs drums per shift using proper drum moving equipment.

Lifts approximately 200 form racks per shift weighing up to 35 lbs each and places them on trucks as high as 76”.

Keep accurate records.

Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.

Maintain clean and organized work area as outlined in the GMPs.

Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School diploma or GED

Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; stand; reach with hands and arms; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls). The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.

The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses and appropriate shoes.
