Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative for a local U-Haul dealer, you will perform various duties including, but not limited to: Provide service to our customers in person and on the telephone Prepare rental contracts and invoices for customers Clean and inspect rental equipment.
Day to day duties of a Customer Service Representative: As a Customer Service Representative you will interface with U-Haul customers to identify what they are looking for so that you can recommend the best moving supplies and equipment for their moving needs. A Customer Service Representative will assist customers inside the store by educating them on our products and services, answering questions, and preparing rental invoices. Also, you will be performing clean-up and inspection of trucks, trailers, and other rental items, and accepting equipment returned from rental.
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements: Valid drivers license Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving. Previous Customer Service experience is highly recommended. Ability to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures. Must be able to use a computer, proficiency with Microsoft Word. Also, must be a fast learner, dependable, and trustworthy, must be able to pass a reference and background check. Must be able and willing to work Saturdays (during the summer months) from 10 am to 4 pm.
Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
