Job Qualifications
Applicant must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Applicant must have basic knowledge of computers, Previous work with the Maestro PMS system a plus.
Applicant must become thoroughly familiar with company policies and procedures and be committed to seeing that these policies
are communicated to staff within the department
Job Description-Summary:
Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Housekeeping will be to assist the Director in all aspects of the housekeeping department to include but not limited to scheduling of staff, maintaining budgetary guidelines as established by the Controller of Myrtle Beach Seaside Hotels, staffing reviews, staff training, unit inspections, unit cleaning when necessary, inventory control and ordering of housekeeping supplies such as linen and cleaning chemicals. Applicant must be capable of performing their job in such a way as to protect the assets of the company as it relates to the management of housekeeping. Applicant must work along with staff to maintain the highest possible guest service standards as set forth by Myrtle Beach Seaside Hotels and the Director of Housekeeping.
