Thank you for your interest in applying at The Grumpy Monk Broadway at the Beach. Founded on the belief in taking care of our staff to maximize their production our company is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so staff can spend time with family and friends.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the recipes and guidelines provided
- Assist in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and costs
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling)
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong knowledge of proper knife handling techniques
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
