- Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
Qualifications
ABOUT THE JOBIn this position, you’ll support the day-to-day production in manufacturing areas and are responsible for the operation of the machine equipment and process.- Must be able to acquire and demonstrate skill and knowledge needed to achieve successfully operation of all machine responsibilities.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic functional skills to support different operations throughout the plant.
- Participate in routine production activities, inspections, reporting, troubleshooting, housekeeping, and following work instructions to support basic production and quality tasks.
- Provide input on and support equipment and process improvement initiatives.
- Must follow documentation standards as stated in job specific work instructions
- High School Diploma (not required) or combination of equivalent experience and education.
- Must be able to work 12-hour schedule to include Holidays and weekends occurring on the shift
