Be responsible for developing and growing a small team of engineers who are dedicated to creating cutting-edge automation solutions

Lead the shaping of Boeing’s human centric production system where the mechanic works closely with robots and smart machines leveraging advanced technologies such as big data analytics, collaborative robots, and digital twins

Lead the successful capturing of government Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects where the pace of these projects requires an entrepreneurial approach to understand their needs and develop custom solutions that meet and exceed their expectations

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team

Drive a culture of quality and technical excellence, ensuring that our products and services are of the highest standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement cutting-edge automation solutions

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

Manage the BR&T Assembly Automation Lab (LA2L) in North Charleston, SC and the Boeing Manufacturing Development Center lab (LA10) at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, GA

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

8+ years of experience in engineering

Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management or equivalent

Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams

Software development and cloud computing experience

Composite fabrication experience

Experience with composite fuselage assembly methodologies

Experience with machine/motion control methodologies

Experience with automated machine/cell commissioning
