Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), Electrical Design organization has an opportunity for an Electrical Wire Design Engineer in North Charleston, South Carolina! The position shall help us define the future 787 commercial customer introduction configurations within the wire design team.An ideal candidate shall be highly motivated, very familiar with detailed wire components, interface control documents, wire type and gage requirements for individual commodity circuits.Position Responsibilities:Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

Develops basic work statements for new designs.

Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design.

Generate and maintain wire diagrams for released designs.

Individual shall be able to work under general direction of lead engineer and an experienced mentor to enhance both technical learning and career growth.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering field (Aeronautical Engineering; Aerospace Engineering; Computer Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Systems Engineering, or Commercial Aircraft Design)

2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification

Previous Aerospace Industry Experience

Typical Education & Experience:Associate (Level 2)Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification.Experienced (Level 3)Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.Lead (Level 4)Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.Equal Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
