Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Experienced Assembler - Group Coordinator to join the 787 Delivery Center Operations in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!This position will provide critical production support to Final Assembly and field operations including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product qualityPrimary Responsibilities:

Creates culture that enhances productivity, safety and a teaming environment.

Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure LOTO book, kit and LOTO equipment are used correctly and inventoried.

Coordinates with Lead/Manager on execution and critical path of production build r Group Coordinator (GC) responsibilities: Additional responsibilities Included but not limited to

Supervising Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)

Review current LOTOs

Coordinating hazardous energy work

Hand off or end-of-shift activities

Abnormal circumstance responses

Listed below are additional responsibilities

Verifies Aircraft power can be safely provided to the airplane.

Inventory LOTO Kits Pre and Post shift

Sign into all LOTOs.

Remove any LOTOs from the book as required

The GC meets with the work team to evaluate where hazardous energy is to be introduced

Coordinating with Functional Test SMEs and ME’s

If work continues – coordinate hand-off with the next GC.

If work shuts down – coordinate preparation for power shut down.

Review status of personnel and airplane system configuration.

Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GC’s.

Sign out of all open Control Log Sheets (X35681)

Verifies all mechanics are signed out of active LOTOs.

Note: The GC may serve as PAE for all or some of the LOTOs. Only when necessary

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Must be willing to work any shift assigned.

1+ years’ experience within aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience dealing with various wiring design drawings including system interconnects, wire routing and equipment installation drawings

1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
