Systems Engineer, MidThe Challenge:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into te chn ical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. You will work as part of a team of subject matter expert engineers and te chn ical professionals to design, produce, and deploy real-world Command and Control ( C2 ) systems.

You'll create solutions for warfighters to integrate air, land, maritime, and space domain awareness by connecting operational and tactical forces around the world via edge networks. Evaluate and modernize fully converged C2 systems, cloud-based C2 applications, and a ( AI / ML ) solutions. Join our team and help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with systems engineering
  • Experience with supporting the operational use of systems to ensure fit-for-purpose throughout the system lifecycle until system retirement
  • Experience with systems architecture, connectivity, and signal flow
  • Experience with basic production equipment and tools
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Te chn ology

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with radio, communication tools, data and systems, and switches
  • Experience with following blueprints, assembly diagrams, and schematics to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
  • Experience with integrating components from different te chn ical disciplines, including small computers, communications systems, and developing te chn ical documentation and systems schematics
  • Experience with operational air defense or battle management
  • Experience with air surveillance or target tracking radars, data li nk s, and correlation systems
  • Experience with IAMD and BMD plans, programs, and joint service integration
  • Experience with air and missile defense system operations, joint or combined military staff processes, joint military planning, modeling, and simulations, radar systems, data li nk architectures, and joint and combined command and control
  • Experience with creating new hardware prototype designs, including parts selections and providing initial operational requirements for new devices
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
