Catering is a key component of the service we provide to our aged care residents at Brigidine House.
Brigidine House, located in Randwick, is conveniently a short drive to Coogee Beach and a 5-minute walk to public transport. We operate a 30-bed Residential aged care service and provide a home like community for our residents.
As a member of the Leadership Team at Brigidine House, you will be preparing meals for our residents and managing an established team of catering assistants. This role includes overseeing effective meal service to our aged care residents, as well as providing best practice service in kitchen cleanliness, documentation and food preparation.
The shifts we have available are Saturday to Monday 7:00am - 3:30pm
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential)
- Previous experience in managing a kitchen and kitchen staff
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment, highly desirable
- Knowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principles
- Demonstrated Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
- Experience with the Vulnerable person food safety act
