Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is located in the South Carolina Department of Administration's (Admin's) Office of Administrative Services - South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS)/Enterprise Projects.Under limited supervision, the incumbent serves as a reporting developer for the South Carolina Enterprise Information Management (SCEIM) to develop and integrate the state's reporting requirements. The incumbent also provides end user and system support to ensure correct reporting requirements are met and maintained. This position also:

Develops, implements and maintains Enterprise Reports for finance, human resources and materials management areas;

Develops, updates and facilitate training courses for statewide finance, human resources and materials management reporting users utilizing Business Explorer (BEX), Business Objects or other available reporting tools, ie. Tableau;

Meets with agencies including central agencies and divisions to assist in the development of finance, human resources and materials management reports;

Assists with the facilitation of Reporting User Group (RUG) meeting for finance, human resource and materials management to define and communicate the reporting needs of these areas;

Performs other related duties as needed to support the enterprise reporting function.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and one years of experience in accounting, business or other related fields or an equivalence as approved by the Division of State Human Resources (DSHR).Additional Requirements: Basic knowledge of capabilities and intricacies of information systems. Basic knowledge of computer languages. Ability to understand and carry out basic technical instructions and request. Basic ability to analyze and reduce to logical order complex technical data. Ability to communicate ina clear and concise manner. Ability to work effectively with users, vendors and other IT personnel. Ability to assist with identifying and resolving problems. A South Carolina Class D driver's license is required. Position requires occasional operation of a State Vehicle. May require overnight travel. May require working onsite or remotely outside of normally scheduled to include evenings and weekends. May require carrying a state-owned mobile device and/or laptop. May require reporting to work during emergency situations.
