Job ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.This position is located at Department of Mental Health-Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Adult Clinic Services (ACS), CAMHC #169.Under general supervision, provides nursing services for a defined target group requiring psychiatric nursing services in a large community mental health setting.Minimum and Additional RequirementsState Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.Agency Requirements: A bachelor's degree in nursing and two (2) years experience; or a three (3) year diploma and two (2) years experience; or an associate degree in nursing and two (2) years experience as a registered nurse, one (1) of which must have been in a community health program. Must be licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.Note: When Agency Requirements are indicated, applicants must also meet the Agency Requirements.Preferred QualificationsCAMHC Prefers: Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
