Job Description

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Basic Operation of the following Equipment Examples include:
    • Visually inspection of molded parts
    • Tumble parts as instructed in the SOP’s
    • Labeling of all material
    • Weighing of all material
    • Complete scrap tickets daily
  • Takes action to correct unsafe acts, systems and procedures
  • Facilitate material movement in the department or throughout the plant
  • Sorts material from the non-conforming area
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and other duties as assigned.
  • Actively participate in continuous-improvement teams in the area.
  • Actively participate on 5S team and complete 5S duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 45lbs multiple times during a work shift
  • Dexterity is critical for this role. Associates will utilize their fine motor skills to work with small parts in order complete certain task.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend English
  • No write-ups as outlined in the Job Opportunity policy
    • No disciplinary write-ups in the last 6 months
    • Have less than two (2) incidents under the attendance policy
  • Demonstrated positive work history through performance reviews.
