Working within our integrated engineering team at our production facility in Cirencester you will develop electrical and control systems for interfacing Bosch Rexroth factory automation products with third party systems and for plant networks on machine control systems. This will include PLC/HMI/control systems and other hardware from our own company and other manufacturers. Application areas include sectors as diverse as automotive, aerospace, food, packaging and printing, instrumentation and even F1.With a busy order schedule you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, with a focus on the detail, as well as collaborate with the wider team to deliver results.  You will need to build good working relationships with the engineers, production control, purchasing teams and other stakeholders. Main responsibilities will include;Preparation of detailed electrical specifications and special test procedures for external  control System suppliers to quote, design and build against.Manage the quality of the designs produced by external Control System suppliers.Design electrical circuits and systems to support special machine manufacture.Provide detailed costings and customer quotations within out SAP business system.Provide project & communication skills in managing multiple tasks with particular attention to time / quality / costSupporting workshop testing and commissioning and/or fault finding at customers premises as requiredProvide functional safety expertise both internally and externally, ensuring all safety related components and circuits comply to the machinery directive and safety categorisation of the system as a wholeThe types of solution we typically provide for our customers include:Conveyor Control sub-systems / Panels for Rexroth ConveyorsConveyor Control Systems for Rexroth ConveyorsHigh Power EV Battery Testing, Charging and Discharging Control PanelsMotion/Servo Control Sub-Systems / Panels for Rexroth Cartesians, Servoactuators or ServopressesMotion/Servo Control Systems for Rexroth Cartesians, Servoactuators or ServopressesComplete Factory Automation Production Lines
