Job Description
$16-$20/ hour
Cricut has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Shipping Clerk. The position will start out as a part time/temporary role, but is expected to evolve to a fulltime/permanent role within the next few months, so the ideal candidate will have schedule flexibility to increase hours to full time. Cricut is looking for someone with a start up mentality that can build in systems and processes as the company returns to the office and continue to grow.
- Assess and implement necessary all necessary systems, processes, and procedures.
- Approach the job with a start up mentality, focusing on growing and improving the department.
- Process outgoing shipments with proper postage and labels.
- Receive daily deliveries and distribute them within the company.
- Maintain company stock room through organizing and cataloging items on a regular basis.
- Organize stock and merchandise with in the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location.
- Deliver world class customer service to both internal and external customers to ensure a positive interaction with the company.
- Coordinate shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues.
- Schedule flexibility: Starting schedule will be Mon-Fri 9am-2pm. The hours could change depending on need.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years shipping experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Recent Shipping & receiving experience
- Experience and knowledge of international shipping
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented and able to multi task.
