We are DISH.DISH is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for its Spartanburg, SC facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Manage multiple supervisors and be fully responsible for the processing and auditing of shift efficiencies at the expected level of productivity and quality identified for one or more areas within the department

Resolve escalated process issues with supervisors, process changes, and reporting to higher-level management as needed

Responsible for managing and directing the day to day operations of a manufacturing shift

Develop standard work procedures, prepares work schedules, and optimizes workflow

Promote highly engaged culture based on treating all employees with dignity and respect

Collaborate with department managers in knowledge sharing, problem solving, and providing positive leadership within assigned functional areas

Develop and manage quality assurance program(s) designed to ensure continuous process improvement

Assign and oversee projects dedicated to auditing and assesses processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness

Determine performance measurement systems to enhance objectivity and the integrity of performance data and evaluations

Develop and implement ongoing shift training programs

Inform higher level management of issues and/or concerns, on a daily and weekly basis

Recommend new and/or enhancements to existing processes and procedures

Provide accurate and sufficient data for the evaluation of production efficiencies, return authorization procedures, and determining trends

Provide direct interface to all other departments of the corporation’s group of companies regarding any operational issues

Drive high levels of employee engagement, operational performance, safety compliance, quality compliance, shift efficiencies, and collaboration with other departments

Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

A minimum of three years of leadership experience in operations management in a medium-to-high volume manufacturing/warehouse environment

SKILLS:

Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of manufacturing staff

Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills

Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment

Proven ability to develop and lead team members professionally, obtain results through others, and instill a high-quality culture

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving/resolution skills and a team focus

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and non-technical instructions
